Hold On Tight to Your Dreams!

This one goes out to Abraham! Because nothing is cuter than a 2 year old singing an E.L.O. song over and over, and saying "come on guys, let's sing"!

We're Back!!!

We got back from our trip to Harper's Ferry, WV and Baltimore suburbs last night. We had a great time visiting with all of Em's family, but it is always nice to come back home to our animals!!!

We spent the first leg of our trip in Harper's Ferry--where we met up with Em's sisters, Bib and Kath, and Bib's boyfriend, Kevin. They just finished their first 1,000 miles on the AT and welcomed the break! And on Wednesday, Chris rejoined the hikers. He came in on a train from Washington DC and we met him in Harper's Ferry.

Em and I hiked some...sure it was only a mile...but it was hiking--or "walking in the woods" as Em likes to call it!

Em's brother Michael, his wife Erinn, and their son Abraham live about an hour an half from Harper's Ferry, just outside of Baltimore. So, on Thursday afternoon we loaded up two cars with all 8 of us!

It was great to see Michael, Erinn and Abraham. Plus, we got to spend time with Erinn's family!

We celebrated Erinn's birthday on Friday with strawberry cheesecake and on Saturday with a movie. On this note, I DO NOT recommend seeing "The Happening"!

I'll have to make a second post with pictures from Em's computer...where we downloaded all of them!

A kitten with white mittens!

Em and I are gonna give this blogging thing another shot...

We have a new addition to the Yash-Ulmer household...and she has yet to be named. We are giving" Eleanor Rigby" a test-run, but it hasn't stuck yet! Check her out...any suggestions are more than welcome!

Both Em and I forgot how crazy kittens are--it's been a LONG time since either of us has ventured to kittendom. She loves cups and anything that moves including the television screen. Elwood and her are BFF! And the big girls are working on "not chasing"--so far so good!

em is smitten with this kitten!

...but still nameless...
